50.000 and counting Hey everyone, look at the counter :) Number of occupied pixels reached 50000 in such a short time. This number was my first goal, because I tought if I could fill 50000 pixels, then all million pixels on the page will be gone in some near future for sure. I don't know why this number, but stick around to find out if I was right.

Just to let you know that I'm working on current orders and sending e-mails for pending requests, so if your pixel is not yet on main page or you haven't got mail with ad sending instructions, please wait because I have tons of requests to process.
Number of busy pixels went from 1400 to 20000+ in one day, mainly because of the digg, but many ads are still waiting for it's placement.
Also, as space quickly fills with ads, sometimes place you want gets reserved few minutes earlier and I'm forced to move your add to nearest free space. I will inform you about that and in that case you could choose new place for your add, but few of info mails got rejected as spam, so please if you have some issues regarding your ad on main page, send me a message

Site on main page of digg.com - 154 orders in one minute!
OK This was not expected. I've got 1 order mail, than after few minutes another. Half hour later 2 more, few minutes later 3 more and 3-4 hours after first mail I clicked "receive e-mail" I've got 154 new messages that haven't existed a minute ago.
There will be a lot of work now so please be patient and wait for your order to be processed.
Enough typing, I will do that later, I must process tons of e-mail now.
I hope site will survive this :)
(If message sounds desperate, I'm not, I can't describe how happy am I, but just a little shocked because of traffic amount)

I went through about half of your orders since digg-ish effect and I'm not feeling well, really. I must catch a few hours of sleep and when I wake up I'll complete sending e-mails to rest of you that signed up tonight, after digg boom.

Every day - new order(s)
Just a short info that pixel orders started coming regularly every day. Some of them sent banners, for others I'm still waiting, but as you can see, page started to fill with ads. Slowly, but I'm sure it will speed up in the future and eventually all million pixels will be full of ads.

Finally, first ad on page
Today I've got first ad in my inbox and now it's on main page. Rest of the advertising sites still haven't sent their pics/coordinates. As soon as they arrive, I'll put them online.

Four more orders today, and it's not end of the day yet
Posting news every day wasn't exactly my plan, but neither was constantly increasing number of orders.
Four more orders :)) and day isn't over yet, so there may be a few more. Script wasn't so generous today, so it gave only 100px to 3 orders and 300px for one order. At this moment only one of them reserved place for it's pixels, but no picture from anyone yet, so we're still waiting something more than those "R" squares.
I'll try not to bother you every day with "hey, X number of new orders" but it's nice to see that things are going nice, so I want to share that excitement with you. From now on, no more news that contain only "x news pixels ordered" info.

Second day, second order
Ok, now this site has better start than famous first pixel page :)
Yes, I know it's not fair since I'm giving pixels away for free, but hey, I will not have million dollars at the end, so let me at least enjoy this so called success.

Second free pixels order came in. Script was good so far, so this order is 400px, which is really ok. In case you are wondering what happened to first order and why it's not on home page, they haven't replied with their picture yet.

Script decided that first ad will have 500 pixels. It's nice that first isn't in smallest possible dimensions.
I'm waiting for reply with picture and as soon as I receive it, it goes online.

Here it is. You all know about Alex's million dollar home page, first pixel page. You pay 1$ you get 1 pixel of ad space. Bunch of "I want million, here are pixels for you " pages instantly came up. After more than a year, you can still see one new "buy pixels" page every day. I don't want to earn million dollars with this page. It's not that I don't want million bucks, I do. I need socks too, lots of them and covering part of my university expenses would be nice and maybe a car and a ... ok, you get the point, but I don't think another "buy pixels" page will give me that, so let's have a new concept.

This is a pixel page that offers pixels FREE on first-come first-served basis.
There is one million of pixels, minimum that you can get is 100 (10x10 sqare), maximum is 10000. How much pixels you get, script decides, randomly.
